A fine 19th century French mantel clock garniture by Raingo Frères, Paris, comprising the clock and a matching pair of candlesticks. Executed in richly cast gilt bronze (ormolu) mounted on white marble/alabaster, in the Neo-Classical Louis XVI revival style.

The clock is surmounted by a classical urn with entwined handles and decorated with laurel swags, floral garlands and acanthus detail. The enamel dial is signed Raingo Frères, Paris with Roman numerals and twin winding holes. The candlesticks match perfectly in design, with fluted columns and ormolu mounts.

Condition:

The clock is not currently working and requires servicing/repair. The case, mounts and candlesticks are in good decorative condition with only minor wear consistent with age. Gilding presents well. Sold as requiring restoration.
